Brass & Piano Lessons with Liam
Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for exams, or returning to an instrument after years away, I offer personalised lessons to help you achieve your goals. I teach brass (all levels, specialising in trombone, trumpet, and cornet) as well as piano and music theory. Lessons are available for children, teenagers, and adults.
What I Offer
Brass Tuition
• Trumpet, cornet, trombone, baritone, and euphonium
• Beginners through to advanced players
• Focus on technique, tone, sight-reading, and musicality
• Flexible approach: classical, jazz, or band repertoire
Piano Lessons
• Beginners to intermediate (all ages welcome)
• Classical, pop, and jazz styles
• Strong focus on rhythm, chords, and musical expression
Music Theory
• ABRSM theory exam preparation
• Support for GCSE and A-Level music
• Practical understanding of harmony, scales, and analysis
Exams & Performance
• All of my students have a 100% exam pass rate.
• Preparation for ABRSM and Trinity practical and theory exams.
• Encouragement to perform in school concerts, local ensembles, and community music groups.
Lesson Formats
• In-person lessons – based in Billinge, St Helens, Mersyside.
• Online lessons – via Zoom for students anywhere in the UK or abroad.
• Flexible scheduling: after-school, evenings, and weekends.
